We’re getting to the heart of October which comes with pumpkin patches, hot apple cider, and releases of fall clothing. This month we had an exciting event to showcase our weekly launch of new styles by hosting our very own charity fashion show right in our shop's driveway! Yes, you read that right, we were able to completely transform the space in front of our garage into a boho chic runway from the help of a local decorator Werking Design & Decor.
The evening kicked off with a cocktail hour for our guests. We had drinks made from our favorite Yes Cocktail mixers, finger foods and sweets to choose, and raffle tickets to purchase for a chance to win one of many luxurious prizes donated from businesses all around Apex. It wasn’t too long before dusk started to settle in and time for the main event to begin.
Below are a handful of styles that were showcased that night and are all ethically sourced clothing, perfect for any fall day.
Here is a comfortable but stylish outfit for those days where you’re on the go during a chilly morning or afternoon. The Jules Pants, giving a fun flare at the bottom, and matching Jules top pulls out the clay color in the ivory and blue Ivy jacket.
The Cinema blazer in a camel brown was paired with our commando faux leather crop top and matching faux leather leggings. Want more ways to style faux pants? Then check out our last blog post, How to Style Faux Leather.
Another glorious design was the magenta Allie top, loosely tucked into the dark teal Skylar skirt. A subtly flirty fit to wear for the skirt swiftly flows as you walk around town for the next dinner night out.
Models for Charity is a nonprofit organization that helped us out for the night's event as many more wonderful volunteers strutted the runway. All proceeds went to Emi’s Enchanted Events inc. and we were able to raise over $500! Emi’s Enchanted is a nonprofit organization that helps give a magical night to children who are fighting medical illnesses. They want to bring joy, support, and smiles to the child and the family.
